Floors in Lighter Shade of Pale - Grey & White Washed Floors
Due to the increase of demand of light shaded wooden floors over the last year few companies has introduced new, easy to apply formulas for achieving white coloured and grey coloured finishes.
The renowned Danish company Junckers was one of the first to introduce a white tinted primer, which produced a pale / bare wood effect. It was followed soon after by Woca, which also introduced similar product for the own lacquers.
The white-washed look on wooden floors can be both clean and contemporary or industrial-like and rustic when used on textured planks, for example.
Both solutions comes with the "Junckers PreLak White" and "Woca White" primer, which both produce that perfect, naturally transparent, milky / creamy white appearance and works perfectly on all kinds of timber – oak, ash, beech and maple, as well as soft woods.
It’s easy to apply, has the low odour of waterbased finishes and contains a UV filter so your floors won’t fade or become yellow.
One, two or three coats can be applied to build up a more solid depth of colour then over-coated with a waterbased lacquer.
Couldn’t be simpler!
